Cleansing diet is an effective way to rid the body of toxins which enter the body from food and the environment. Such a diet is based solely on pure substances and is combined with herbal and natural supplements. Since, high blood pressure is aggravated by an improper diet, a cleansing diet is a good way to cleanse your body and treat the blood pressure problem.

The first thing to do is to review all the cleansing programs and decide which one suits your needs and budget the most. If you chose the colon or heart cleanse, then fix a time for them. Setting time is important as colon cleanse can cause sides effects such as irregularity, dizziness and headaches and can disturb your daily life.

Walking, aerobics, swimming and bicycling are exercises that work at strengthening your cardiovascular system. These exercises will help in opening up blood vessels and subsequently lower blood pressure. Spend at least 30 minutes of exercise every day.
